Medication

Medication (prescription or over-the-counter*) is given at school only upon receiving (1) the written authorization of the parent/guardian and (2) a statement from the child’s physician detailing the method, consent, and time schedules by which medication is to be taken. Medication is administered in the office (except in doctor specified cases of specific medications). Come to the office to get appropriate paperwork for written permission.

*Please understand that all over-the-counter medication, even including cough drops is subject to the procedure above.
